Jeff Torgerson, is Director of Product Management at Motricity. Prior to this he was a Senior Product Manger for Mobile Local Search for Idearc Media and InfoSpace. He has more than 15 years of engineering experience as a developer and product manager with focus on innovation, stability and successful deployments into every major US Carrier and some international customers. During his time with InfoSpace, Torgerson successfully drove mobile local search application releases in J2ME, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, and Web 2.0. In addition, he defined and launched the first ad supported iPhone Web 2.0 application which was widely received by the industry. (and since gone away with the company split-up)

Prior to all of this fun, Torgerson owned and operated, a private Web development company. Additionally he spent two years at Boeing where he worked as part of the Web Management team for the company’s main facility in Washington. He also spent some time in the USAF both stateside and two tours overseas.

Torgerson is a graduate of the United States Air Force Technical College.
